With the recession still in full swing, and holiday season creeping up on us once again, the word “layaway” seems to have become a popular choice in ‘words searched’ on the internet, which has seen a rapid increase since August last year.
No wonder, with Kmart’s Online Layaway service, that promises buyers they can “put by” items until they have the money to pay for them, is turning out to be very popular with online shoppers.
